舒昭

舒 昭1936年生于云南大理,二胡演奏家、教育家,四川音乐学院教授、硕导。系中国音协会员,中国音协二胡学会荣誉理事,中国民族管弦乐学会胡琴专业委员会顾问,世界教科文卫组织专家成员,历任成都市第六届至第九届政协委员。自幼深受民间音乐熏陶,师从著名音乐家林之音先生学习二胡。1954年入西南音专师从段启诚先生。1955年发表处女作二胡曲《柴村欢舞》,1956年创作《明月归舟》、《洱海之滨》等作品并与刘天华、阿炳、俞鹏等经典名曲二十余首由本人演奏为电台录制播放。此间还创研了叠指持弓法。1957年毕业任教。曾先后赴东北音专、中央音乐学院进修,得到陈振铎、刘北茂、兰玉崧等民乐大师及丁王当、朱郁之等名师的悉心指点。1957年及1958年曾先后为朱德和刘伯承、吴玉章等国家领导人演奏二胡。五十年代中期至七十年代末期曾与声乐大师郎毓秀等教授联袂举办一系列的音乐会。1960年任讲师。1963年获四川二胡演奏评比第一名。1990年应邀出国讲学与演奏。1993年出席阿炳国际学术会议。在半个世纪的教学中着意结合心理学,帮助学生树立事业心和自信心,培养了车向前、刘光宇、马晓晖、黄维志、舒虹、舒希、田永平(旅美) 、徐山(旅加)等一大批文艺人才,有不少在全国大赛中获奖,50余人获高级职称,包括川音本院10余人。退休后仍积极参加学术活动,多次应邀出席全国学术会议;为弘扬民族音乐,1998年以来在成都等地携子舒虹、舒希联袂举行多场“三舒二胡系列音乐会”获得良好的社会反响。自1961年以来编写《二胡教材》、《二胡练习若干首》、《洱海之滨》(二胡曲集)等教材,分别在历次全国二胡专业会议上获得好评。2002年受托执笔修订《四川省二胡考级标准》,2005年与人合作编辑出版《四川省二胡考级曲目集》和录制光碟。发表有《二胡教学中的心理学》、《琐谈‘二泉映月’的再创造》、《新世纪二胡教学刍议》等论文以及《忆二胡艺术家刘北茂教授》、《思听教诲月三更》——沉痛悼念陈振铎教授,《高山景行忆林师——深切怀念恩师林之音》等文章。出版有《自学二胡》、《舒昭二胡教程》等专著,后者受到海内外读者的欢迎和赞许,民乐界元老陈振铎教授生前评价“是目前国内较为全面的一本教材”。
Shu Zhao, Professor and Master Supervisor of Sichuan Conservatory of Music, is currently the consultant of Erhu Professional Committee of Nationality Orchestral Society of China, expert member of UNESCO, and has been appointed Chengdu CPPCC member from its 6th to 9th session.
Born in Dali, Yunnan in 1936, Shu graduated from Southwest Music College (which is now the Sichuan Conservatory of Music) in 1957, and then pursued advanced studies in Northeast Music College and Central Conservatory of Music.
He never forget devoted guidance received from National Masters Chen Zhenduo, Liu Beimao, and Lan Yusong, and teachers such as Lin Zhiyin, Ding Dang, Zhu Yuzhi, Duan Qicheng, and Fu Jun, without which, he considers, his accomplishments would be impossible. Then, like his teachers, he teaches his students with heart and soul. Like a “ladder”, for half a century he has cultivated and paved the way for a large quantities of talented musicians, among whom are famous musicians Che Xiangqian, Liu Guangyu, Ma Xiaohui, Shu Hong, Shu Xi, Huang Weizhi, Tian Yongping (now in US), Xu Shan (now in Canada), and more than 40 of them have obtained Senior Professional Title on the job (10 of them now working in Sichuan Conservatory of Music). He has encouraged and helped learners with difficulties in specialized study to achieve good academic results.
As early as the 1950s, he had participated in and held numerous concerts. In 1957 and 1958, he played the erhufor national leaders such as Zhu De, Wu Yuzhang and Liu Bocheng. In 1959, he held a recital together with vocal music master Lang Yuxiu. In 1963, he had the honor to win the first prize in the Sichuan Erhu Performance Competition. In 1978, with other renowned Sichuan musicians, he participated in the grand recital sponsored by Sichuan Cultural Federation and Music Union. In 1982, he initiated and organized all the teachers and students in Sichuan Conservatory of Music in holding the “Concert for Memorizing the 50th Anniversary of the Death of Nationality Musician Mr. Liu Tianhua”. In 1995, he initiated and participated in the“Concert for Memorizing the 100th Birth Anniversary of Liu Tianhua”with the same staff. Since 1998, with his two sons Shu Hong and Shu Xi, he has given several performances entitled “Three-ShuErhu Recital”. In the 1990s, he was invited to give lectures and performances abroad, and to attend A-Bing International Academic Conference and numerous other academic seminars about erhu.
His publications include "Textbook of Erhu" (1960), "A Textbook for Self Learners of Erhu" (1977), "Shu Zhao Erhu Course" (in 1993) "Shu Zhao Erhu Course (New Edition)" (in 2004), which were once highly praised by national master Chen Zhenduo and Liu Yuhe and received worldwide welcome. He has published several papers including "On Changing Erhu", "The Psychology in Erhu Teaching ", "Discussion on Recreation of ‘The Moon Reflected in Er-quan’ ", "On Erhu Teaching in the New Century" and so on. He also wrote dozens of etude and music. His events have been recorded in more than 30 kinds of dictionaries and books, e.g. "World VIP", "Chinese Outstanding Characters Dictionary", "Human Mainstream Characters Dictionary" "World-famous Erhu Performers".
